Mark your calendars! This Friday,
September 23rd, is the opening of Aero director, Gary
McKendry's first feature film, Killer Elite!
Gary recently sat down and called into
IFC for their segment, “Call-In Commentary,” to talk about how he
and his co-writer Matt Sherring, wrote the story (as it's based on a
true story that was turned into a novel, The Feather Men,
by Ranulph Fiennes) and kept it true to the 1980s time period in
which the story took place. Facial hair, Jason Statham's chair flip,
relationships between actors, the 80s props used and all the
action/stunts are discussed. (Seriously, facial hair. It's a
topic.)
So
